Our Approach
At Dogs in Harmony, we focus on bringing your dog into harmony with
you, your family, your home, and with the outside world (friends,
strangers, other dogs, and unexpected situations that arise).
Training Location
Dogs in Harmony serves the western and south-western portions of
the Greater Ottawa Area. Should you live outside this area, we can
certainly discuss options.
All training is private with personal one-on-one attention and occurs
in the comfort of your own home and neighbourhood. Where better
for your new dog to learn how to live with his or her new family!
Where to Begin
All dogs, no matter their age, love to learn new things! What
they learn is up to you and that's where training comes in.
- Does your dog take you for a walk or do you take your dog for a walk? That's where training comes in.
- Does your dog greet your visitors a little too enthusiastically? That's where training comes in.
- Does your dog sit when asked? Does your dog lie down when asked? That's where training comes in.
- Does your dog bark when the letter carrier arrives, when you're talking on the phone, when you're out for a walk, or when he or she wants to play?
Training helps your dog understand the kind of behaviour you wish and the kind
of behaviour you'd rather not have and it's never too late to begin.
